Past Projects
The ABC Green Home is not a concept.
It is a proven, award- recognized demonstration home series with nearly two decades of industry impact.

ABC 1.0 came to life over 18 months, from February 2011 to October 2012, when the home was completed at the Great Park in Irvine, Calif. The project achieved six separate certifications from different agencies to attest to its efficient design and energy use. Over 30,000 people took a private tour of the home while it was open and on display and 150,000 more viewed virtual tour online. The project was then deconstructed and recycled into two new homes that were donated to U.S. military veteran families.

ABC 2.0 is a custom home in Walnut, Calif., demonstrated the same values in a multigenerational two-story home.

The project is a cluster of three homes reflecting contemporary architecture in the spirit of the existing Eichler-style neighborhoods nearby while achieving sustainable building certifications. More than 100 design consultants, product manufacturers and volunteers donated their labor and materials for this pro bono project that was donated to a Veteran family.

ABC 4.0 in Crestline, Calif. is 4.0 is net-zero luxury home completed in 2019. The move-up, single-family home is independently certified by ten agencies and highlights the principles of high performance home building, design and technology.
